On Friday, March 27th from 5-8pm, come spend an evening learning the Sourdough Basics with our bakers Emeric and Steven at our Farm Café. *Duration: 3 hours *Max. attendance: 11 people *Price is per person : 170$+ HST We’ll cover: *fundamentals of sourdough *tools required for starter maintenance *mixing, shaping, and fermentation *scoring, baking, storing Per person, your registration includes: *a bag of local, organic flour from Moulin des Cèdres *a banneton, a scrapper and a scoring blade kit *a sourdough starter *1 fresh baked loaves (by you, during the class) *fresh dough to bake at home the next day *Snack break including a mocktail or specialty coffee and a selection of sweet & savoury treats. *a Fundamentals Worksheet What you’ll need to bring: *an apron (there will be flour!) *a container (2L or more) to bring fresh dough home *a bag or linen to take baked loaf NOTE: This workshop is not suitable for gluten-free dietary restrictions. If you have any other dietary restrictions, please contact us before booking. MINIMUM ATTENDANCE: We reserve the right to cancel the class for insufficient attendance. In this case, we will offer you a full refund. CANCELLATION POLICY: We can only offer refunds for cancellations made 5 days prior to the class. We cannot offer refunds or a substitute workshop date due to personal reasons, BUT we will reschedule the class in case of weather conditions that aren’t safe to have you travel in.
